Hey Yardbarker, I filmed this video while I was at my hotel in New York. I was in NYC for my press conference. More videos and posts to come!
I started training when I walked into Master Toddy's gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was going to school and had no real solid direction in my life. Muay Thai gave me something to focus on. I started going twice a week, then three times a week and before I knew it, I was in the gym everyday soaking in all the information I could handle. I had my first fight 6 months after I started and from that point I compiled a record of 12 wins 1 loss and 1 draw.
At that time, I was attending the University of Nevada-Las Vegas planning on graduating with a Psychology degree. But doors started opening for me and I found myself in a situation where I had to choose one or the other. School or fighting? Since I was much more passionate about Muay Thai, I withdrew from my classes and began to travel around the world to fight and participate in fight events. It opened my eyes and gave me a whole new education. I traveled to Thailand 4 times and fought twice. I loved it.
I fought in a K-1 match in Las Vegas at the Mirage and frequently fought at what used to be the Stardust in Las Vegas. I was then offered the opportunity to fight in the first ever sanctioned MMA bout in Nevada against Leiticia Pestova. I won that match in 39 seconds. My third fight was against Elaina Maxwell, was also the first time a well-known MMA promotion, StrikeForce, was to have females on their card in December 06'. I won by unanimous decision. I was then signed to the (then) up-and-coming promotion, Elite XC , and was offered the first televised female MMA fight to be shown on Showtime.
After that, came other opportunities - I was a part of an independent film called "Ring Girls" and a reality show called "Fight Girls". I was a featured as “Crush” on American Gladiators for two seasons on NBC. I was the character of the Russian sniper “Natasha” in the EA game “Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3”. I was in a Pepsi commercial that aired during the 2009 Super Bowl and chosen as #16 on the 2009 Maxim Hot 100 list which lead to a marketing campaign for General Motors. I’ve been a guest on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson Show, NBC’s TODAY Show, featured on Warrior Nation (MSNBC) and featured on ESPN’s “I’d Do Anything” reality show.
I consider myself incredibly blessed to be in the position I am in. And I want to thank everyone who has helped me to get where I am today.
Love,

Female fans have been salivating over GSP in the forums for months...but I guess that now that we got Gina in the Yard, us men can get some of our own ;)
