Quentin Johnston came four yards short of hitting his over prop on "Thursday Night Football," which brings us to 2-2 on the week in Look of the Day. Let's shift back to the hardwood for our favorite NBA prop bet of the night and scratch out a profit on the week.
Myles Turner has been on fire offensively with at least 31 points + rebounds in three straight games, and he's staring down the best possible matchup on Friday night.
The Washington Wizards are abysmal at defending the center position. Washington ranks dead last in the NBA in points allowed per game and rebounds allowed per game to opposing centers. Over their last four games, the Wizards have allowed opposing centers to average 42.5 points + rebounds. Sure, two of those games came against Joel Embiid, but Nic Claxton put up 13 and 15 and Jonas Valanciunas went for 16 and 18 against them.
Turner is a much more polished offensive threat than Claxton and Valanciunas, and he's gone over his average field-goal attempts in five of his last six games. As long as Turner attempts close to 14 or 15 shots, he should have no problem clearing this number against Daniel Gafford and this horrible defensive frontcourt.
