The Chicago Bears are making big moves this week. No, I'm not talking about the NFL Draft. Although the annual event kicks off on Thursday, the Bears are making noise on a different front the day before the big event. According to the team via a media release, the Bears and Chicago city officials will be holding a press conference on Wednesday to announce new stadium plans and green space on Chicago's lakefront.

As noted in the release, the plan includes a state-of-the-art stadium that will be publicly owned. In addition, the stadium will be enclosed, allowing for more events such as Final Fours, Super Bowls, and other events to occur on Chicago's lakefront.
The plans will also host additional green space on Museum Campus, meaning there should be more to do around the stadium than their currently is at Soldier Field.
The team decided to change their narrative on stadium plans after Arlington Heights set up a roadblock with the schools valuation dispute. Now, the city is the focal point once again.
Wednesday's press conference will take place at 12:00 p.m. CDT. The team and city will lay out the plans and what the expectations are going forward.
