It didn't take long for the Gophers men's hockey team to get on the board Friday night in Columbus, Ohio.
Jimmy Snuggerud took advantage of an Ohio State turnover in their own zone and made an incredible move, putting the puck between his legs and slipping it five-hole past Ohio State goaltender Logan Terness.
It was one of two first-period goals for the Gophers phenom, bringing his total to 11 on the season. He also recorded an assist on Rhett Pitlick's first-period goal.
Snuggerud, who was selected No. 23 overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2022 NHL draft, now has 16 points on the season.
